Our Kits are unconventional in that we don’t send you everything, only the machine made parts that you can’t purchase locally. Why? Because it would be what’s known as a rip-off to charge you for mark up and exorbitant amounts of shipping cost to sell you generic steel that you can buy locally without a middle man. That being said, you’ll be responsible in purchasing the generic steel to make the process as affordable as possible. Download the free material list so you can get an exact cost for everything you’ll need. We’ll still send you the machine made parts and provide you with the blueprints to make the build seamless.
This kit gives you everything you need to seamlessly complete the base model bed. It is designed to be a cheap alternative to pre-made flatbeds.
The kit includes the CNC machine made parts shipped to your door and a model specific blueprint that lays out all of the other steel you need to purchase locally and at what lengths and angles to cut it. This kit is designed to be used in combination with the video tutorial that is also included.

Customer Reviews
Once the build started, it went smoothly, as before each step you watch the corresponding video for what you’re about to do. The techniques used are very sound, such as making jigs for repetitive work, and welding procedures to pevent warping and/or skewing the frame. I ended up picking up a couple tricks I will be using in the future as a bonus.
Overall, I’m very glad I chose this route for my build. Everyone who’s seen it really likes it. Price wise, I am very satisfied, too, it stayed well within my budget. Thanks again, DDFab!

Do you feel you recieved a good value for the price paid? Why?:
Yes good value! Gives a great baseline to start your build. There are many ways you can vere off and make custom adjustments.
What was your favorite part about the process/product? What was your least favorite?:
Favorite thing was the dxf cut files. Simply forwarded the email to my local water cutting company and the parts were done. Least favorite isnt really the companies fault. The cost of the dimensional steel vary by location through out the country. I was able to purchase whole stick lengths for better cost. I also reduced the different types of steel used to cut costs as well.

If you’re looking to build a flatbed this is the way to go! This is an awesome company, sells a great product. Great customer service! Blueprints are clear and simple and the additional video tutorials help out. I had no issues getting this thing put together and ready for an Ag. Mech. Show. Looks slick and let me tell you this heavy duty bed could take a hit if needed. Highly recommend!
