Working with the guys at Double Diamond couldn’t have been easier. I barely had to lift a finger and ended up with an awesome looking and well built flatbed for my Powerstroke. As a contractor who can be a little hard on things, the pop can aluminum stock truck beds just don’t hold up when you actually use your truck for truck things. The new bed has already taken some abuse and I still can’t find a single scratch or ding. I fully expect switching our company trucks over to double diamond flatbeds to save us money compared to all the money and time we’ve spent replacing tailgates and taillights. Plus, it just looks awesome and is much more unique compared to any of the other cookie cutter flatbeds that aren’t custom built.
I love giving credit where credit is due. I bought a new trailer a few months back and having a lifted truck made it rough to tow. So I started looking at flatbeds and local people that sell them. In my search I ran across DD Fabrication in Bend. Let me tell you. Top notch service through to the end. If any friends on here are looking for a flatbed I recommend 100%. They custom built bed to what I wanted and even color matched the powder coat. On top of all the extras I ordered it saved me almost $5k from a Eugene company that was an authorized dealer for name brand beds. Hit up DD Fab in Bend. Great guys and company.
I couldn’t be more happy with the finished product as well as the entire ordering and buying process. I shopped around looking at a lot of the off the shelf bed companies but couldn’t find anything that I felt fit the truck right. Everything was too generic. After finding DD Fab and looking at their options and finished product I knew I found the one I wanted. After a quick phone conversation where Danny walked me through the ordering process and options I was on my way. Because of my schedule I knew I couldn’t get to their shop for the install for 5 or 6 months. Over the course of that time I had a couple changes, and Danny and I always kept in touch. Once we had a date set, I dropped the truck off first thing in the morning and it was ready to pick up that afternoon.
I knew I was going to be happy with the end product, but it far exceeded my expectations when I first saw it. The fit to the truck, the quality and attention to detail is unsurpassed in my opinion.
These are not your grandfathers flatbeds! I was looking for something different for my 1966 Ford and Double Diamond Fab hit the nail on the head. I am extremely happy with the custom look I got at a great price. Double Diamond is extremely easy to work with and they really went the extra mile to produce a high quality, reasonably price, custom flat bed. The attention to detail, communication, and quality really put them leaps and bounds above their competition.
When I first started to write a review of my experience getting a flatbed put on my truck from Double Diamond Fab, I didn’t know if I could fully express just how satisfied I really am. These guys are pure pros. The bed is flawless, and full of trick little pluses from wiring to mounting to ascetic beauty. Functional and strong…super strong. Only slightly heavier than my stock bed. So glad I went with these guys to build and install….like I said, pure pros and really nice guys!

I found them on Facebook. Called them and figured out what I was wanting. I went to their shop and had them install my flatbed it turned out great! They do nice work and the bed is well built and I look forward to using it on our ranch. I will be doing business with them again and will be recommending them to my friends. Not a big shop and that’s what is great about it – the people you talk to on the phone is the guys doing the work. Good work and good people!!!!

Great from start to finish. DDFab was able to provide me with a quote over the phone, explaining everything that was going into the build, available add-on options etc. The level of professionalism from the fabrication work to the business side of things was top-notch. Communication regarding the timeline and progress of build, paint, install was excellent. Would recommend to anyone searching for functional/clean fabrication work.
