Our Story

Founded by Nathan Harper & Sarah Wood on May 19th, 2025. Western Edge was built from a shared passion for metal, welding and art. Both Nathan and Sarah are proud graduates of Northwest College where they each earned Associates of Applied Science Welding Technology. We believe that fabrication isn’t just a skilled trade — It’s also a form of art. Metalwork should be more than just functional; it should tell a story, capture imagination, and stand the test of time.

Western Edge is a full service fabrication shop offering plasma cutting, custom ornamental designs, custom fabrication and mobile welding.

Our shop sits just outside of Cody, where sparks fly daily as we blend traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. From the first sketch to the final grind, we take pride in every detail, ensuring that each piece not only meets expectations- but exceeds them.
