The dealer program is designed for existing welding shops that want to add a new business division to their current operations. This is for welding shop owners with an interest in a scalable business system that they can easily train employees to execute. This program can be implemented immediately using your existing shop, tools, and employees.

Your ROI Calculation: The payback period of this program is very simple: you will make north of $2,000 profit per flatbed sold (verify with the excel sheet), and it costs $6,000 to get licensed. That means it takes selling 2-3 beds to make your money back in PROFIT. For an average first year dealers, selling 2-3 beds takes 2.5 months. There are very few things you can buy for you shop that return your capital that quickly.
Each dealer gets a unique login to our dealer platform – the all in one platform with everything you’ll need to build and sell flatbeds. This includes the video tutorial, blueprints for all models (PDF downloads), cut files for all base parts and add-ons pre-nested on 4 x 8 areas (.DXF files), and all of our business and support tools.
Our video tutorial is completely exhaustive. At over 5 hours long with 28 modules, it’s a step by step explanation of how to build, wire, and install your flatbed with no detail left out. This makes a useful training tool for employees, and will only be needed for the first couple units, after that the process simply repeats itself regardless of model using the same process and jigs. Fabrication: 10 hours (base model) – 20 hours (high end model)
Wiring: 3-4 hours
Installation: 6-10 hours.
Total: 20-35 hours/bed.
Translation: If you have one guy dedicated to building and installing beds full time, you’ll be able to produce about 4-5 beds a month. 2 full time guys would be 9-10 beds a month, etc.
Minimum bed quota – must sell a minimum of 6 flatbeds per year to remain the program.
Required to purchase lights and mudflaps from HQ on a per unit basis – every unit sold must use the provided lighting packages and branded mudflaps sold by our HQ location. This is also a tracking measure for HQ of the units sold per year. Lights and mudflaps will be available to purchase off the dealer platform.
Customization Allowance – the base model flatbed must be built exactly as the blueprints and video tutorial intend. After the base model is built, any and all customization is permitted that acts as an add-ono the base model. This includes but is not limited to: toolboxes, fenders, bed rails, lumber racks, custom mounting systems, etc.
No selling flatbeds in weld-yourself format – you are only permitted to sell the fully built product. Under no circumstances are you allowed to sell the product in weld-yourself format. A second party such as the customer or a car dealer can install the finished product, but the product must be fully assembled before leaving your shop.
Customer Satisfaction and product quality – we expect our dealers to provide top notch craftsmanship and service, if you don’t you will be removed from the program. This is enforced through customer complaints and photo verification of builds.

Once you’ve scheduled your interview (link below), the most important piece of homework you can do is to fill out the Flatbed Excel Sheet. This will generate your selling prices and profit margins to determine if you can sell flatbeds at a price that your local market will tolerate.
